Bargarh : Renowned social worker, educationist, and founder of the Himalayan Institute of Alternatives, Geetanjali J Angmo, was warmly welcomed today as the Guest of Honour at Imperial College, Chadeigaon, Bargarh.

On this occasion, she delivered an inspiring lecture on “The Five Pillars of Future Education” and emphasized that the education of tomorrow should not be limited to professional success alone, but should aim at nurturing responsible, compassionate, and innovative citizens.

In her speech, she elaborated on the five pillars of future education, i.e., critical thinking and problem-solving, digital literacy and technological integration, values and ethics, creativity and innovation and sustainability and social responsibility. She also stated that the future of education is not confined within classrooms but lies in building mindsets that can lead with change, innovation, and compassion.

The students actively participated in the session and engaged in a vibrant Q&A discussion on skill-based learning, community needs, and empathetic leadership.

Deepak Kumar Goyal, Director of Imperial College, expressed his gratitude and said that the thought-provoking insights would undoubtedly inspire the students in their lifelong journey of learning.

On this occasion, Geetanjali J Angmo was felicitated for her remarkable contributions in the field of Social Service and Education.
