Bargarh : Under the joint initiative of the Sambalpur District Central Cooperative Bank (SDCC Bank), Sambalpur Milk Union (SAMUL), and the District Cooperative Registrar (DRCS), Bargarh, an event was successfully organized today at Biju Patnaik Town Hall, Bargarh. During the event, 20 Milk Producers’ Cooperative Societies (MPCSs) were provided with Micro ATMs, and savings accounts for MPCS members were opened with SDCC Bank.

The event was inaugurated by Bargarh MLA Shri Ashwini Kumar Sarangi, who attended as the Chief Guest. Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Bargarh, Smt. Madhuchhanda Sahu, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

Among those present were SDCC Bank Chairman Shri Narendra Pradhan, SAMUL Chairman Shri Bidyadhar Pradhan, District Cooperative Registrar (DRCS), Bargarh, Shri Jugal Kishore Das, SDCC Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shri Bhakteswar Mallik, NABARD District Development Manager (DDM), Bargarh, Shri Hata Kishore Behera, Bargarh SDVO Shri Sobhen Kumar Nayak, and SAMUL Managing Director Shri Rajanikanta Panda.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Shri Ashwini Kumar Sarangi expressed confidence that, through the dedicated efforts of cooperative institutions, Bargarh would soon establish a distinct national identity in the field of milk production as well.

He further stated that such initiatives would promote digital banking in rural areas while further strengthening the principle of “Cooperation among Cooperatives.”

The event concluded with a vote of thanks given by Dr. S. K. Satpathy of SAMUL.
