The 80th Independence Day was celebrated at the Maheswari Group of Institutions premises in Kirei, Sundargarh. On this occasion, the national song “Vande Mataram” was first sung by the students of Pharmacy, ANM, GNM, B.Sc. Nursing and Combined Degree, faculty and all the staff of the institution, and the flag was hoisted by the founder and director of the institution, Shri Fakir Karn, who was the chief guest. Through his speech, the chief guest advised the students to serve the country, become self-reliant and be healthy. Later, a cultural program was presented by the students. Then the chief guest Shri Karn hoisted the flag at the Maheswari English Medium School, Sankara, founded by him, and addressed the students and the parents present. On the other hand, the parents also expressed their satisfaction with the educational environment and related facilities of the school and expressed their gratitude.
