Bargarh: In today’s materialistic society, respecting the opinion of the child as a parent will strengthen the parent-child relationship, said Professor Pritish Acharya, Professor, Department of History, Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer, Rajasthan. A seminar Lecture held at Gandhi Bhavan in collaboration with Gandhi Smriti Library and Ganadrusti. Professor Acharya, participating as a speaker in the discussion titled “Parenthood: A Process”, gave a comprehensive speech and said that parenthood is an extraordinary experience and achievement. In this regard, it is the quality of a good parent to respect their son or daughter’s expression by not imitating the feelings of others and to follow their own feelings. The parents listened to the countless questions in the mind of their tender-hearted child, felt the feelings and discussed them with them. Whether the right answer is found or not, the respect of the child for his parents increases. He highlighted an important aspect that the parents did not make fun of their child for his failure and wished him success in the future, saying that he would reach the pinnacle of success in the future.
In this seminar held under the chairmanship of Gandhi Smriti Library President Arun Kumar Mohanty, Senior Member Manoranjan Sahu delivered the welcome speech, Jayaprakash Satpathy introduced the guests and Umesh Vishwaal proposed the vote of thanks. Shri Acharya was felicitated by the library with a bouquet of flowers and a uttriya.
