Many rituals are held in the temple throughout the year. During the summer season, the Pakhala Bhoga ritual is a major tradition. It starts on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya and continues over the first week of the Baisakh Mela. During this week-long ritual, the deity is offered Pakhala, i.e., the watered rice often including curd, ginger and other spices. The dish is prepared by the temple servitors in special earthen pots. Pakhala has cooling properties and it serves many benefits especially during the heat of the summer days. So, this ritual is held to bring relief to the deity during the scorching days of the summer season.

Thousands of devotees visit the temple during this time to experience the special bhoga. This annual ceremony symbolizes spiritual devotion and cultural unity.
