SAMBALPUR : The MCL Officers’ Club successfully concluded the Ganesh Chaturthi 2025 celebrations held from 27th August to 5th September at Jagruti Vihar, MCL, Burla. The nine-day festivities witnessed overwhelming participation of executives, employees, families, and the local community, making the event a vibrant blend of devotion, culture, and fellowship.

Each day began with Morning Puja from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and concluded with Evening Aarti at 6:00 PM, which drew large gatherings of devotees. A series of cultural and devotional programs were organised including eco-friendly idol making, rangoli with eco-friendly materials, drawing, vegetable jewellery making competition, games for children, housie, recipe and modak competitions, as well as a grand ramp walk in traditional attire. Annabhog was offered , a cultural evening and Mahaprasad was served on the concluding day.
The highlight of the celebrations was the Prize Distribution Ceremony, which was graced by the presence of the esteemed patrons — Shri Keshav Rao (Director-HR), Shri Pranab Kumar Patel (CVO), and Shri Sanjay Kumar Jha (Director-T/P&P). Their encouragement and blessings greatly motivated the participants, especially the children and families who took part with enthusiasm.
The festivities concluded on 5th September with morning puja and a grand Murthi Visarjan procession, resonating with chants of “Ganapati Bappa Morya” and spreading a message of unity, devotion, and cultural harmony.
